Can I still submit my abstract?
No, it is no longer possible to submit your abstract. The deadline was 18 May 23.59 CEST (Central European Summer Time).
When and how will I know if I submitted my abstract correctly?
You will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail immediately after submitting your abstract. In addition, your submission will be confirmed by the ECNP Office via e-mail within two weeks after submission. If you have not received a confirmation within this period, please notify the ECNP Office via e-mail.
Can I make changes to my abstract after submission?
Before the deadline of 18 May you can ask the ECNP Office to reopen the submission. After the deadline, when abstracts are under review, no changes are allowed.
When and how will I know if my abstract has been accepted?
The presenting author will be informed of the decision of the scientific review committee by 20 July 2021.The abstract will be reviewed for one of the 3 review outcomes if you have finalised your submission on or before 18 May 2021.
Where can I find the congress abstracts?
The abstracts that have been accepted will be posted on the website in the online programme, on the congress platform, the ECNP app and if accepted for publication on the digital congress supplement to the journal European Neuropsychopharmacology.
Are ePosters available on the ECNP website?
No, ePosters are only available via the online platform of the congress. The abstracts of the posters will be posted on the website before 1 September 2021.
How and when can I register as an abstract submitter?
You can now register. All abstract submitters have been offered the early registration fee (regardless of the outcome). The early registration fee is applicable only if you register and pay before 4 August. Selected Early Career Scientists (who fit the ECS criteria) will received free registration.
How can I register for free as an ECS* abstract submitter?
The registration is free for ECS presenting authors, residing in a country within Europe**, if the abstract is accepted for publication in the digital congress supplement to the journal European Neuropsychopharmacology (outcome A or B). The free registration is offered and shows automatically when you register. Registrations made before the outcome was known will not be refunded.

Where can I find information about application for a CDE Grant?
The CDE Grant no longer exists, but abstract submitters that are an Early Career Scientist (view criteria) and/or residents of an European Country with a Developing Economy (CDE)* are candidates to win an Excellent Award. To win this award you do not need to apply. Further details can be found here.
*CDE-countries within Europe are: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia-FYR, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine.
Where can I find the outcome of the ECNP Excellence Award?
The 80 winners of the Excellence Award have been notified via e-mail on 14 July 2021. Photos of the awardees will be shown during the Award ceremony on Tuesday 5 October and the posters will be clearly marked as winners.

What should I do with outcome A?
You should register for the in-person congress in Lisbon. Between 1 August and 1 September you should upload an A0 version of your poster and via a different link also upload an A4 version of your poster for ePoster presentation. Please read carefully the guidelines.
What should I do with outcome B?
You should register for the online congress. Between 1 August and 1 September you should upload an A4 version of your poster for ePoster presentation. Please read carefully the guidelines.
What should I do with outcome C?
You should register for the online congress or the in-person congress. Between 1 August and 1 September you should upload an A4 version of your poster for ePoster presentation. Please read carefully the guidelines.
Where can I get my Poster Certificate?
After the congress, on Wednesday 6 October, you will be able to download your poster certificate via My ECNP on the condition that you have presented your poster in Lisbon (Outcome A) or online (Outcome B or C).
