Abstract submission for poster presenters
It was also possible to submit a non-standard abstract. For example clinical cases, literature reviews and research proposals.

Registration
All poster presenters need to be registered for the congress to be able to present their work via a paper and/or an ePoster.

All abstract submitters will be offered the early registration fee (regardless of the outcome) until 4 August. Selected Early Career Scientists (who fit the ECS criteria) will receive free registration.

Review
Abstract review outcomes where e-mailed to the presenting author on 14 July. Abstracts accepted for poster presentation have received one of the following outcomes:

ECNP Excellence AwardExcellence Award
Early Career Scientists (according to the criteria) and/or residents of an European Country with a Developing Economy (CDE)** are encouraged to submit an abstract for poster presentation. Excellent work might be rewarded with an ECNP Excellence Award.
**CDE-countries within Europe are: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia-FYR, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine.


Who can submit an abstract?
Abstracts can be submitted by professionals from across the world who are keen on discussing the latest developments in the science and treatment of brain disorders.

Submission by an Early Career Scientist (ECS)
The registration is free for ECS* presenting authors, residing in a country within Europe** if the abstract is accepted for publication in the digital congress supplement to the journal European Neuropsychopharmacology.
To be eligible for the free registration the abstract must be submitted by the presenting author (who fits the ECS criteria) and he/she has uploaded the proof of age document during the submission.
*Early Career Scientist
**Europe being the 47 countries of the Council of Europe plus Israel and Belarus.
